------------------------
About the case and MSI's MEG series:
If you're not familiar with MSI’s MEG (which stands for MSI Enthusiast Gaming) lineup, it’s essentially their flagship series, aimed at enthusiast builds and overall enjoyers of higher end options.
For the MEG MAESTRO 900R being given away here, here’s what MSI is highlighting: a centered internal layout, three-sided panoramic glass, and a detachable motherboard tray that can rotate into four different orientations. That gives builders quite a few options for how they want to assemble and display their system.

There are also some more premium finishing touches, including aluminum panels and diamond-cut detailing.
The four-way motherboard layout is probably the most interesting part from a builder’s perspective!
If you want to see MSI’s full breakdown of the MEG series, you can check it out here: "Excellence, Refined".

Discussion The RTX 5080 Has Been Removed From NVIDIA's Official Marketplace.
Rumors claim that the RTX 5080 16GB will be discontinued alongside the already discontinued RTX 5090, and those claims seem to be true. NVIDIA is reportedly planning to introduce an RTX 5080 24GB model in early 2027, which would serve as its flagship GPU until RTX Rubin arrives sometime in 2028.
According to the same rumors, the 24GB model will use the exact same GPU die as the current RTX 5080. As highlighted by HUB, the die is already fully utilized, meaning this won't be a more powerful Super variant or a noticeable performance upgrade. The only expected difference is the increase in VRAM from 16GB to 24GB. An increase of Clock might be present, but the difference would be very minimal in real-world gaming.
The 24GB of VRAM on High-End Blackwell GPU could also make the card particularly enticing to certain AI users. This could mean that availability will be limited, and the card might not stay in stock for long at its original MSRP, whatever that price might end up being.

Build/Battlestation My first ever pc died. I fixed it, and learned a new skill!
My first PC died. Never worked on a computer before. Said fuck it and rebuilt the thing myself.
Bought my first gaming PC about 5 years ago. An iBUYPOWER prebuilt with a Ryzen 7 5700, RTX 3060, 16GB RAM and an ASRock B550M-C motherboard.
I'm a mechanic, not a computer technician. I've worked on cars, engines, plumbing, electrical shit, you name it. But I've never taken apart a PC before. Didn't even know what half the components looked like.
For the past couple years this thing had been acting funky. Sometimes I'd have to hit the power button twice, fiddle with the HDMI, fans randomly stopped working, and eventually the CPU light started staying on.
Then last week she finally died. Press the power button, CPU and DRAM lights flash, fans jerk for a second, and nothing.
Well fuck.
Started researching, pulled the PSU, drove to Best Buy, bought a new 750W power supply and thermal paste. Swapped everything out. Same symptoms.
So I started stripping the PC down. Tested individual RAM sticks, removed the GPU, cleared CMOS, pulled the CPU to inspect the pins, and eventually tested the motherboard outside the case on cardboard.
Still dead.
At that point I figured the motherboard was toast. Drove my ass back to Best Buy and picked up an MSI B550 Tomahawk.
Never installed a motherboard before in my life.
Spent the evening figuring out where everything connected, transferring my CPU, cooler, RAM, GPU and all those tiny little wires. Even learned what an M.2 SSD was. Had no clue that little strip was holding my entire Windows installation.
Put everything together, hit the power button...
And the fucker booted.
My entire desktop was sitting there exactly where I left it. Games, files, settings, everything. I was expecting to spend all night reinstalling Windows.
Instead I was playing Fortnite.
Even better, a bunch of problems I'd been putting up with for YEARS disappeared. No more hitting the power button twice, no more fiddling with the HDMI connection. Apparently that old motherboard had been giving me shit for a long time.
Still have a CPU debug light to investigate, but temperatures are normal and the machine runs.
I genuinely thought computer repair was going to be a lot harder than this. Turns out if you understand how mechanical and electrical systems work, a lot of that thinking transfers over.
Five years owning a PC. First time ever opening one up to repair it. Went from not knowing what an SSD looked like to replacing damn near everything attached to the motherboard in one day.
Now I've got a spare PSU, a dead motherboard to poke at, and apparently a new hobby.
And Windows decided my new motherboard means I need to buy Windows again.
Fuck you too, Microsoft. 😂

Video Wolverine Bike Mission. Its still not perfect but we are finally past the single digit FPS for the most part.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Like I said Its not perfect. but it its progress. It was stuck at 2 to 5 FPS a few weeks ago. Now we are in the double digits. Lets address some common comments on these videos.
- "This game sucks nobody cares about this game." - Its not about the game its the fact that this is a big budget Triple A game on a current gen console that is very technical and only came out a little over a month ago already running through emulation. If you dont understand how crazy that is from a technical standpoint then you dont understand emulation.
- "This PC Cost 3 times more than a PS5, I would just play it on PS5." - Thats not what its about. I own a PS5 and have beat this game on PS5 already. If thats what it was about then I wouldn't be posting these videos. Its about being able to preserve these games on the PC and potentially play them in the future and not have the game die on a Plastic Box just look at the PS3 for example. Emulation is about Preservation. Point Blank Period.
Again Im gonna keep posting because I love Emulation and the process of Emulation. Emulation is the most important part of PC Gaming to me. Emulation is one of the main reasons PC is the Master Race. Never forget that.
Full Vid Here If you want to support me or you love Emulation as much as I do. Im avoiding negative comments but if you have questions. I'll attempt to answer them. Be Blessed.
