At the 2026 LoL World Championship (Worlds) Swiss Stage, held at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, USA, on the morning of the 30th (KST), BLG lost to TES 1-2, pushing them to the brink with a 2-2 record.
After the match, 'Viper' Park Do-hyun visited the press room and spoke bluntly about the team's internal collapse in communication and their shaky performance.
In his post-match interview, 'Viper' summarized: "Game 1 went as planned, from draft to in-game play. But from Game 2 onwards, mistakes became frequent, and in the final Game 3, the lack of in-game communication and a draft direction I didn't want left a lot to be desired".
He was especially critical of the team's coordination issues exposed in Game 3. 'Viper' said, "Perhaps due to the aftermath of the Game 2 loss, in Game 3 the players just poured out whatever they wanted to say and didn't listen to each other at all. The most painful moment was the decisive bottom lane fight—even though a call went out that 'Pantheon has no ultimate,' the enemy Pantheon joined the fight with his ultimate and we lost the teamfight badly".
When asked about the instability in BLG's performance, he remarked, "The team BLG has always been far from stable." He admitted, "Even in the games we won, it only looked like we were snowballing well on the surface; in reality, it was because the opponent made frequent mistakes or we rode the momentum well. Today was a loss where we were completely outclassed by the opponent in every aspect".
With his team pushed to the edge ahead of the final 2-2 match, he also shared his resolve. 'Viper' said, "With our current form, it's hard to even gauge what draft would be best, but the most urgent task is to restore communication to normal." He assessed coldly, "Right now, communication within the team is at a level that's worse than not doing it at all".
However, he left room for a rebound: "Honestly, right now I don't have a clear idea of how we should approach the game, but if we seize this last opportunity and make it to the quarterfinals, it could actually be a chance for us to become even stronger".
He concluded the interview by saying, "I'm sorry for showing a disappointing performance to the fans who supported us in Korea. In the next match, we will definitely return to the original form that is worthy of BLG".
