In 1998, Icelandic electrician Guðmundur Felix Grétarsson lost both arms following a devastating accident involving an 11,000-volt power line.

For 23 years, he lived without arms, unable to hug his daughters or perform everyday tasks independently. In January 2021, surgeons in Lyon, France, performed a groundbreaking operation, giving Felix the world's first double arm transplant involving the shoulders.

Following months of rehabilitation, Felix gradually regained movement and achieved something he had waited more than two decades for: hugging his daughters and grandchildren again.

He has since regained the ability to perform everyday activities, including brushing his teeth, dressing himself, and holding a glass.

People seem to be fascinated by flat feet, so I thought I'd share mine.

I’ve lived with these flat feet for 48 years. Surprisingly, I don't feel any pain or fatigue even after walking for a long time. In fact, I can walk longer and better than almost anyone I've ever known. My walking posture isn't weird at all either; it's completely fine. On top of that, I’ve always been a great athlete.

Pretty neat, isn't it?

Fascinating 🧠⚡ Your brain runs on just 12 watts, less than an LED bulb, while an AI doing similar tasks needs 2.7 billion watts, or 225 million times more power.

The reason: the human brain is an ultra-efficient, self learning system with 86 billion neurons, refined by evolution.

AI, meanwhile, relies on energy-hungry data centers, GPUs, and cooling systems.

Despite AI’s progress, nature still outperforms technology in efficiency.

The next frontier? Neuromorphic computing, designing AI that mimics the brain’s power-efficient architecture.
